With less than ten days to go in the high-stakes presidential election, Elon Musk, the world’s richest man and an endorser of Republican Donald Trump, is using violent and vulgar rhetoric against Democratic nominee Kamala Harris.
Elon Musk, a prominent Republican megadonor, is actively participating in Donald Trump’s rallies. He is also holding solo events to rally American voters in support of Trump’s bid for the US presidency. The US presidential election is set on November 5.
Musk, who founded the America Super PAC, posted a 1:39-minute video on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, depicting a gladiator with Trump’s face, holding swords and kicking a warrior with Harris’s face in an arena.
The creator of the video, which appeared on X, appears to have neo-Nazi ties, according to NBC News.
This is not the first such video targeting Kamala Harris. Previously, Musk’s Super PAC posted another video on the same platform calling Harris the “C-word” and labelling her a “communist.”
The advertisement, however, has since been deleted, NBC News reported.
The violent sword-fighting video has since gone viral.
It opens with a voiceover of Musk speaking at a rally in Pennsylvania, a state where an assassination attempt on Trump occurred. “This election, I think, will decide the fate of America and the fate of Western civilisation,” Musk says.
The video then includes clips of rockets, jets, Hulk Hogan ripping his shirt, Trump’s speeches, and various other imagery.
The video, shared by the Twitter handle “America”, a Super PAC founded by Elon Musk, includes a watermark reading “CHRISWINIG”.
According to OpenSecrets, America PAC has spent close to $140,000 on ads supporting Trump’s campaign or targeting Democrats, while campaign finance filings show Musk has contributed nearly $75 million to his Super PAC.
